Late Shri. Manchali P.Doddamani migrated to Maharashtra in search of job with his big family of brothers and sisters when many of his family members died in Plague epidemic of 1940s. Being elder, Mr.Manchali had responsibility of whole family, hence he started working as Coolie (Patidaar) on Solapur Railway Station before getting Job at  Textile Mills of Solapur. Then Doddamani siblings worked in LAXMI and VISHNU mills during British period. They were descendent of Dhodda Mani (Meaning: Big Large house/ Esteemed family) family of Jayguru of Indi Taluka Karnataka. This Mahadev Koli family were schedule tribes who engaged in farming in Karnataka state. They had over 340 acres of farming land and a joint family of more than hundred people in Single home  (made up of black stones)  in village called Anjutagi and hence Jayaguru Mutya became God of the successors in Dhoddamani family as he was the last leader of joint family. After his death family started disintegrating and farms started getting divided into successors. Shri. Jayguru's temple is there in the farm of Anjutagi where all living generations of Dhoddamani meet on 'Jatra' festival every year on occasion of 'Ugadi'.
